That is the new proposal at 640 N Broad

someone needs to make a thread for it

I think it's safe to say Mural West can be moved to canceled/never built

Not to say it can't be replaced though.
I'm not sure probably so.

It's very underwhelming for that corner especially when there is a 20+ story building right next to it.

The only other building on the property is Old Zion Church that faces broad street.

This is why it won't be redeveloped, though. It is part of the same property and they aren't going to block their own windows.

Blumenfeld and Blatstein are big talkers. I won't count my chickens with respect to anything they propose.

Wow I never knew that, interesting.

Well at least we are getting developments on all corners of this major block.

It could have been 4 50 story towers but albeit all change is good change.

Three. The building at the SE corner is beautiful and should never be torn down.

Good. This genuinely is a prime corner. I can’t believe EB can’t do anything with it.

I hope that whoever purchases this site will stick to the original plan EB put forward. The original tower would have been a serious upgrade for that corner. With all of the construction occurring around Broad and Spring Garden, I have no doubt that something will happen here eventually.

"the Guggenheim of Philadelphia" story from last year is pretty funny now though. I would love to know who was going to front all the money for that lol.

Yeah, it sounds like it was just to entice potential buyers of the lot. We don’t know if it sold or to whom.

Fingers crossed, but also not holding my breathe.

It would be amazing to get a tower like the one in the rendering. That shape and height in that location 👌

This video includes another rendering, and a 3d model that is not the same design

Yeah this is all marketing. That YouTube video is aimed 100% at out of town developers.
