I mean clean lines and good clean design. Better than was there before certainly.

I dunno - clean lines seems to fit very awkwardly in this highly traditional area... I was hoping they'd replicate some traditional frontage for the entrance.. I sorta still am hoping.. as the tree in their original render kinda obscured what they were gonna do for this area..

The white stickers have been fully removed from the east-facing wall. Couldn't get a photo but the final exterior is now all exposed and looks nice.

I'm not in love with how this turned out. Too many materials and patterns going on. The front of the building looks nice, but the side, combined with the front and back looks meh. Glad to see another building with housing and commercial space along Gore, but I'm not that into it.

100% agree. It looks too busy without a coherent aesthetic. I’m not going to complain about it though because I’m happy to see these smallish projects dotting the city.

It's just a shame that something that doesn't look all that attractive is built in such a prime location. Feels like a wasted opportunity.

That tile on the ground floor wraps around to the front entrance too which is different then the concept art. This turned out pretty ugly not gonna lie...

I don't like the fact they stripped off the cornice - the front area looks very "vinyled" over and doesn't feel harmonious.

Also the first floor window has that giant "x" support in it which makes the whole thing just look kinda ugly.. overall.. blegh. Looked better before.

Hamilton Planning staff are recommending denial of the condominium application here as the project isn't implementing rental replacement policies which were approved after this was under construction.

How on earth does the clergy principle not apply here?

I saw someone working on a second floor ?office/ ?bedroom last week, so I think we can change the status of this one to Complete.
