Parents should sue Burnaby for not building a proper sidewalk.

its interesting how people just think snapping fingers can make things all of a sudden perfect. its almost like areas in transition, or industrial areas make bad places to live. i mean seriously. what do you guys even expect? just everything to be magically perfect on day one? i mean really.

Nice sculptures. I see that Ledingham McAllister and Burnaby are smart enough to avoid climb-able ones.

Nice to see first tower go up. It will anchor the area that is to become.

The condos are building faster than the ice rink/community from the looks of it

Found this on instagram. Looks like they're building three towers at once. Azure 1, Azure 2, and Icon.

Azure 1 is on the 15th floor. The parkade is done for Azure 2. Icon's parkade is being built

Oh wow I had no idea construction was this advanced, it's quite the project in terms of scope. Any idea where Agropur is relocating to? Saputo left Burnaby for a way bigger brand new Poco facility, which made total sense. I hope Agropur will do the same thing (would be really bad if they just closed the facility without replacing it). I googled it and there's nothing about the facility at all, the only thing I found was a 2021 article saying they were closing their Winnipeg facility and moving operations to Victoria, Burnaby, and Edmonton. They would have known then that the Burnaby facility is going away soon, but I guess until the very second it closes, they will keep using it

Based on their “master plan” from city of burnaby’s website, apropur is on the top left corner and it’s part of their phase 4 which is their last phase. So 15-20 years? Although they’re building quite fast.

Thanks for the update Jasonpark.

All this time I had thought they were taking their sweet time with building one tower and a few low rises. From 10th it's hard to tell the actual scale of the construction.

That's good, but hope they will find a new place for after that, and not just close up

Seems that one tower is on its penthouse levels already. Should be topped out in few weeks.
