Digging the pit still going on with excavator going down below 5m deep. Steel girder bracing has now been installed in corners which may imply the pit will be 2 levels deep. Initial plans showed no underground parking under this 25s tower, so maybe they have made changes and will have a connection to the 2 underground levels planned for the 2nd phase towers.

It's looking south out of what looks like a second floor window on the building along the west side of the open space at 195 Dundas. The excavation is immediately behind this building.

Still installing steel braces for the pit walls. No sign yet of concrete base for a tower crane.

No just the one in the middle of the block. I don't think this builder has the deep enough pockets to pull off building the whole complex at once.

Looks like they are still forming the tower crane base on the south side of the pit.

So which tower is this A, B, or C and here is it located? I'm really lost on this development.

It's the skinny tower right in the middle of this block. If you click on this map, you see the empty lot fronting on Dundas, then the area that widens out behind the 185, 187 Dundas. This square area is where this tower is going.

It's what was supposed to originally be the 19 storey one that is now 25 stories. About 281 feet tall, which is a nice addition to the height void between Richmond and Wellington.

Thanks that helps. I couldn't understand which building it was because there were no 25 story buildings in the proposal.

So this is the building that will directly connect to Dundas Place via that little alley, is that correct?

LFP article on the tower crane - https://lfpress.com/news/local-news/sign...e-project-revs-up-core-construction-boom

They expect around a 18 month build which would mean finishing this around Aug 2022.

Weird that the render they included has a placeholder parking lot where two other towers are planned

I'm guessing the rendering is like that so you can see it (just like all the other ones they released for this updated tower). I am also guessing that the other towers have not been revealed as they (hopefully) are being redesigned with height increases. Remember this one was 19 and now is 25. Maybe they are being bonused extra height on the other two towers as compensation for dropping the lawsuit against the city and maybe also as consideration for redesign that works with the Bus Loop Thing. I hope the other two are going to be more square-rather-than-rectangular floorplate 50 and 40 storey towers with great design. I don't mind if they even steal designs from Toronto, if they are great!!
