It'll be a decent looking station when it's done.

Hopefully those travelling to Niagara on the GO train will have cameras quick enough to take pictures as they fly past it.

It's probably because the tracks with platforms are not on the main line, and they may not be planning to put in the switches on the east side to make that connection by this summer. So for the time being, for trains stopping at West Harbour it's effectively a terminus.

Ironically, the next 60 days on the "West Harbour" GO site should evoke the festive frenzy recently associated with Tim Hortons Field.

Well they aren't up to 2 shifts yet. I live right by it so I'll know when that happens.

Here's what's right next to the GO station on MacNab. I suppose this is perfectly legal meanwhile the thrift store has to go.

They're using a green box, it's ok.

I see the graffitti vandals already tagged it.

I think those columns are supporting the Macnab Street bridge, which was already there before this was constructed. The graf is probably old.

From the train view, it's looking like this is gonna be a proper urban station. Kinda like Danforth GO but more modern.

I think the real rush is going to be finishing the platforms at Union Station. I went through it last night at midnight and there were workers all over it hanging ceilings and all sorts of things. It looks like a round the clock operation. It's been torn up for years with detours and it will be a real embarrassment if it's not done for Pan Am.

As far as I've been alive there's always been some part of Union Station under construction, whether it was the VIA, GO or TTC concourse. The last decade has definitely been much more hectic though.
