Nice update. I've been trying to figure out where the 2nd crane was going to be.

Ah, I missed that. I rode by it tonight and saw the columns sticking up. Glad to see it moving along.

Just bought a condo in the Austin City Lofts building and am enjoying watching stuff happening at Green and Seaholm.

This really isn't either: Just west of 360, in between that building and Shoal Creek, there's a multi-level concrete structure that has been rising, tucked into the corner of 360's parking garage. I'm (seemingly unsuccessfully) attempting to embed an image link here:

which can also be seen at http://imgur.com/vrR4EGO.

Anyone know what this is?

It's a Cirrus Logic R&D facility that had this nasty habit of waking me up every morning far earlier than I had planned that just topped out.

First I want to say is welcome to the forum atxdweller. The building that's U/C by the 360 is part of Cirrus Logic Research Facility.

Thanks y'all. Interesting, especially since Cirrus just built the HQ on 6th in the last couple of years.

Hey ya!

Yeah…they knew they needed more space before that building was finished.

I like the design of the Cirrus Logic building, but they really did poorly plan for future space needs. Is their current building within a view corridor?

Looks like yes. There's a narrow corridor to the Barton Creek footbridge--the same one that complicates the WFM expansion on the lot east of Bowie.

For being such a small lil' addition, it's pretty attractive... Happy to see this go in downstairs. The new PGI building (formerly la zona rosa) is also quite attractive. Nueces/4th has this nice mixed-use thing happening, which I fully support.

I didn't know the former La Zona Rosa building was in use. Last time I remember going by there it was empty.

Wasn't Cirrus Logic going to add a building by their current HQ?

I had to wait a couple minutes on San Antonio St. yesterday for a truck carrying a crane section. But I didn't mind.

Awesome. This baby looks about ready to get some floors added to it. I can't wait until it starts getting some height. Same with Seaholm. Bowie looks huge. I suppose it's just about topped out.

By my counts, Bowie has one more floor to add before the mechanical penthouse

Math has never been my strong suit, but I distinctly remember that the setback is on floor 31 which means they're completing 36 right now. Of course I could be dead wrong

From right now. Seaholm looks to be on the ~9th floor now.

By my count it's at 7, working on the ramp between 7 and 8.
