Those are some really cool shots. Are there plans to redevelop the plots with all the warehouses and trucks etc? Would be a little strange to have new luxury residential towers surround by mostly warehousing.

The warehouses and trucks in the foreground are quite a ways away from the highrise towers. There' more than a mile away.

EDIT: You might be referring to the first set of pics. The first pics, there are plans to develop the southernmost portions. I'm not sure about the other warehouses closer to the train tracks.

Yeah, the towers are moving inland, but deep inland is warehouse/industrial and not zoned for highrise residential.

I could see the industrial areas eventually rezoned, but not in the near-term.

My neighborhood! I live right on Center Blvd on the 20th floor facing the East River (Manhattan views) and Greenpoint BKLYN (Corner unit)! This area has grown tremendously in just the last 10 years!

Sounds awesome. Which is nice because you can literally see the changes daily.

The area has changed so much. LIC is indistinguishable from say 10 years ago.

Thanks and you're right! This is perhaps why we've decided not to move out...the views and space we have (3 BR/2BTH) and the convenience would be too much to give up at the moment!
