Maybe another developer will follow Guardian's plan, by having a tall tower with lots of units at lower prices.

Here's another one I'm so glad to see has action. Guardian seems to be going at a good pace too.

I'd love to see a bunch of these 40-50 story res towers built and sell the units or rentals at affordable prices! As was suggested by Deepstar.

I'd like to see that too. The main reason for Guardian's sales are the price point, def one of the better deals out there. Any condo project that has units starting at 150k will sell units no problem.

Wow love the progress, great updates, should start moving at about a floor per week (I would guess). Its a great project and will add much needed diversity from the original 3 tower Arriva towers.

Are there not 2 Guardian towers going in? Sequential development?

That was the original plan. I don't know what's happened to the third tower, if it is still in the works. We heard that the third one was to be a shorter one. There was rumors of a hotel, and and rumors of an office building. Who knows?

I'm sure the hotel is out of the picture seeing as the new Marriott will go up next door.

You sure you aren't confusing the old arriVa plans with the Guardian towers?

I believe Guardian has always planned on two residential towers of equal height.

It was arriVa that changed from two 42 storey towers to the third tower being shortened and becoming a hotel before the bankruptcy.

I probably am thinking of the old Arriva layout. I notice the Guardian folks don't show the second tower in the rendering, I guess there's no use telling Guardian I purchasers about the second tower unless they ask

They removed the jib to shorten it (was told by worker below). One section was removed and then jib was reinstalled.

A second crane is up at Guardian, hence the shortening of the jib on the first crane.

The footage from the Global Helicopter is just surreal! So many places I know very well are completely flooded, and it just keeps raining.

Oh man, that's not good. Hopefully the flood waters subside.
