if those r all office, it's around 30 floors in total, which is almost the equivalence of a 120m tall office building.

they r cheating us to replace the berezan with this one.....hahaha

but it's a 2.4 million region, who would expect sth like a 200m mixed used office hotel in the middle of a suburb, maybe toronto.

For such a key location it's important to get it just right.
I don't think it'll make a big difference. The horrific pomo cluster of residential towers in the render shows that history repeats itself regardless

Hopefully one or both of the later phase office blocks will be taller.

Here's the [previous?] BC Parkway plan (December 2008)

The url for this pic at the MCMP website says "King George"
(No Coast Capital Building, so could be old, who knows?):

That pic is viewing from Fraser Hwy, so the short blue office tower in the back is Coast Capitol I think.

I think that's an older rendering from the initial renderings that you can find at the beginning of this thread.

Sounds like the hotel and restaurant are closing at the end of May.

Thanks. It clearly shows 4 residential towers.
I don't see an obvious movie complex noted - could go in the big 2nd level space near the "B".
Note the BRT (KGB) and LRT (Fraser Hwy) layout
- not sure why they just don't cut across to the middle of Fraser Hwy under the SkyTrain guideway rather than the 90 degree turn.

I'm still disappointed at the lack of a statue of old King George either in the station or integrated into the site plan.

So where is BC Parkway supposed to go?

I heard that the timeline is for the Coast Capital building to be done in 2015.

that's big news if walmart is a confirmed tenant, is there anyway to confirm this other than the drawing typing?

Cool - I didn't even notice that. It says 90,000 sq ft - which seems awfully small though.
It's on the 2nd level (with no obvious direct connection to the underground parking) - so no grocery (unless they also take space on the ground level?)

The walmart is not actually planned for it at the moment it was more or less just added in there as what it could be.

Similarly, Ivanhoe Cambridge is pursuing redevelopment of the Oakridge Shopping Centre, adding value to it through expanded retail space, high-density residential units and other uses, while Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) is partnering with Shape Properties Corp. in the transformation of Brentwood Town Centre, which they acquired in 2010.

HOOPP is also creating new assets, partnering with Shape on Highstreet, a 565,000-square-foot shopping complex at Mt. Lehman Road in Abbotsford, while Triovest Realty Advisors Inc. and PCI Group are developing Marine Gateway in Vancouver and King George Station in Surrey.

So I've found out the park and ride for king george will still be there when this is built it will just be added into the underground parking lot.

the retail will wrap around from King George up Fraser hwy all the way to the first residential tower

The plaza added here are also are being planned for future use of events and celebrations. So more is added to the city

the office towers are coast capital at 10 and the other two will have 11
the resisdential towers will be 44, 46, 48, and 50 storeys

they also plan to make community house and park area

now for the pictures I may post a few already seen so sorry

You don't see the north shore mountains from there, do you? It's mostly the (equally spectacular) mountains east of Indian Arm I thought.
