This one seems to be taking a while to rise. I'm guessing it has to do with the sloping lot it's being built on.

That and parking garages always seem to take an eternity

And then there's the rain. I spoke with someone today who is developing a parcel in Travis Heights and he said his project got set back about 6 weeks due to the weather.

Thanks for the update Urbanizer. Those pictures somewhat remind me of San Francisco. Btw this tower will start making an impact here real soon.

I saw facade samples of this yesterday on Nueces. SCHWING. I'll snap a photo next time, but it seems the tower portion is beginning to rise.

How anticlimactic. I was envisioning you way up some tree or rappelling off a corner of the structure itself. I need to drive by the site and get my bearings.

Slow news day...

I don't think we've seen a rendering of the "backside" yet.

That's a nifty looking tower for that part of town. It's especially interesting up close with the terrain and surrounding buildings and trees.

I like it! The back looks like Austin City Lofts. The brown is a nice diversity for that area.

This building is going to look great. That part of downtown Austin needed more housing options. Picture is from 11/16/15:

Flatiron, it looks like you got photo-bombed by a tiny UFO at the bottom of the pic.

I haven't seen any photos from this angle so I'm slightly confused about the second building in the background, is that part of Aspen Heights or a completely different project? I've driven past there but am always too busy staring at AH to notice what's across the street from it!

If you're talking about the yellow portion, that's the same building. From above, it basically has a rough "L" shape around the smaller buildings in the front of the photo. Take a look at it on GoogleEarth and it'll make sense.
