Ha. It will continue to be crickets. The three 30-story proposals in WC will start before anything significant starts downtown. But until then we can bask in the glory of what has been built without a crane in site.

This was originally proposed as condo, then it was a hotel. Is it back to condo now, or maybe a hybrid? I'm seeing conflicting info. The site plan shows hotel under "Proposed Use 1" on the "Additional Information" page, but Pearlstone Partners website says it's 140 luxury condo units with an "Onsite Hospitality Concept".

Site plan: https://abc.austintexas.gov/web/perm...ertyrsn=167948

I would go by what was permitted per the site plan - 280 hotel rooms (short term rentals.) Plus their website is not up to date.

It'll be the same concept as The Code and Natiivo Austin. An opportunity to invest by purchasing a condo unit and utilize it as a short term stay/rental.

Right. Just to clarify for those not familiar with Austin's definition of hotels, projects with short term rentals are considered to be hotels.
