This is why the empty home/speculation tax is dumb on property worth more than a mil.

Your statement makes no sense. If an owner is apparently wealthy enough to sit on an apartment valued at over a million dollars, what difference does it make? An unused, empty apartment is an unused, empty apartment whatever it's worth. The fact that they'll have to pay a substantial taxes if they choose to leave it empty is an even greater incentive for them to offer it for lease at a realistic figure - which is probably quite a bit south of $7,000 a month. And if they're dumb, or stubborn, then those taxes (at least in the City's case), will help pay for non-market housing to help someone finding it difficult to get a reasonably priced rental.

The folding glass doors open the wrong way, too.
They should "bundle" next to the BBQ area where the counter already protrudes from the wall.
As installed, they create an obstacle at each corner.

Yuck. "Minimum stay: 30 days", I'd cross that building off the list to ever buy in. it will be looking run down and aged in five years.

It's probably rented to people in the film industry.

Really odd photos. They make the place look really dark, cold and depressing.

$7,000 a month? Nah.

Yeah, crappy photos and a very poor layout that is hard to make out from those photos. While I don't like much else about the unit than the patio and view, it is of course unique being the tallest penthouse in entire Olympic Village.

So I can understand them asking some premium, but I wouldn't offer anything more than $4,500/month for this unit. For $7,000/month, there are a lot more appealing and exclusive units to be found.

It is the tallest, however many of the lower units offer far superior outdoors spaces, and some great views to boot.

Its got a big balcony, but its really just a waste of space as its quite narrow.
