The Circus Tour apparently involves 60 tons of equipment in 34 trucks and a traveling staff of over 200. Supposedly the biggest show Copps has ever hosted. And, I'm just guessing here, probably the priciest VIP seats.

There's even a pre-party at 6:30 at Bay St, guessing they'll shut down the street.

It's $32.50 for a ticket. There's no other price range so I imagine they'll be a stage and people grab a spot near the stage. The Stills will be playing as well.

So kinda like a big gymnasium. I've been on the fence regarding becoming a Metric fan. Sorry, but that video didn't help in making me a fan.

Now The Weakerthans (September 15th at The Casbah), and Joel Plaskett (The Studio at Hamilton Place in October) both promoted by Cincinnati Records. Both are well worth the price of admission.

We picked up 4 tickets (#'s 5,6,7 & 8) for The Weakerthans, but have to attend a wedding the night of Joel Plaskett.

Don't know what happened with Joel Plaskett. He was originally listed here; http://www.casbahlounge.ca/UPCOMING_SHOWS.html, but now appears to have been scooped by HECFI.

Say goodbye to the old multicoloured seating at Copps Coliseum. It is being replaced by blue seating as part of a sprucing up. The lower bowl is being replaced now, the upper bowl at a later date.

Liquorice Allsorts are a very English sweet. Thus perhaps with an influx of brits post war, that's why you associate them with those who are now old people
