Those buildings fit the location well, and remind me of a classic Florida oceanfront setup. I also like how they extend the skyline, and their proximity to the city center and the port.

Do you plan on building parking garages to go along with those buildings?

yes, I still have to fill the base of the buildings and connect them to the infrastructure. For now I've made the beach.

Nice.

I also suggest making little canals that run through that area connecting to the ocean. I saw a lot of those in Naples Florida and thought they added much character and charm to the area.

inner waterways. You should know I like them. I'd never considered them for this landscape but it's a good idea, and i have just the building to begin with.

So how's this texture for my favorite building downtown?

Looks great. Yeah, keep the new texture, it makes the building look very real.

I like those square-ish residential Towers. They look nice. I'm gonna have something similar to that (lots o' balconies) in my city. The podium of the octagonal towers is way too tall. I suggest making it shorter.

No, not those. They're white with black or dark blue windows that go all around the building. In the last shot they're all the way to the left.

What a beautiful skyline! The duplicate highrise residential towers on the right are like Hong Kong!

Epic. And I see you added those buildings from your 'Neighborhood' thread (the ski lounges or something another...). Or I just missed the post where you added them...

Anyways, Good Job, can't wait to see more!

Dac, Patrick, thanks for the skyline shot, I like it very much too.
Neil, the ski lounges are Bago and Novartis' Laboratories; I haven't placed them yet but they'll be connecting the port with the inner city.
Peter, indeed H.K. 's an inspiration. I began making 10x residential building complexes in Fairwinds, and the curved "seashell" towers are recycled from back then.
Aleks, I've been working on the beachfront, and on the Atlantic side of the Financial district.

Now I'm mainly working on the ground of the beachfront. As for the Peninsula and financial district, I plan on erasing some new buildings i don't like that much, and consolidating two main avenues lines up with boxes.

That is truly impressive vertical. I love how the residential towers extend the skyline, and almost act as a 'sister city'. I'm looking foward to see what you do next. The port is also looking good as always. I love the location of it in relation to the city.

Thanks, Austin, Dac, I'm working on three files, the peninsula, the beachfront and the port, I bound them together in Mulligan.

I like that curved building with the columns. The residential part reminds me of Hong Kong and the downtown reminds me of LA. Many cities you wouldn't think of putting together are in here and it looks good. Although that blue building with the round corner is a little too wide. Make it thinner and ad more buildings in the same block.

Thanks Aleks! Yeah I'm bounding together many influences. The Columnade building was gonna be a stock exchange but I don't know, it's a bit disproportionate.
I won't copypaste more than 5 per residential hi-rise. I know in H.K. they make rows of 12, but I just find it a little monstruous.

That Blue Building was gonna be Zurich Insurance Group, but it's horrible and it's gone. I'm working on more low-rises to "Spread" the financial center and teh peninsula.
