It is a big loss.
I wrote him a letter once and he was kind enough to write back to me.
I'm not a fan of all his work, but he really was an artist.

Note how the mullions (mullion-free mullions!) line up in the render but don't in the as-built?

Most projects would cover up that bare concrete with some stonework, mind you this being an Erickson maybe they will leave it as is, in tribute.

Interesting... what are those white bits creeping their way up alongside the porthole windows? A lighting feature would look pretty good there.

I like bare concrete in the right circumstances. But it can't be just concrete, there has to be other elements.
