It is! I love that littlle spot they've made down there.. although that big ugly parking lot could use a nice development to buffer you from road noise, though

The skyline images look great.

I do wonder about the women's attire - skimpy bikinis. I wonder if the bikinis shouldn't be replaced by athletic shorts - it would make the sport more family friendly.

I don't see a problem with the bikinis. It's just like going to a beach, where children are exposed to half-naked bodies all of the time. A little bit of skin never hurt anyone.

If it wasn't for the bikinis, attendance would be about 10% of what it's been.

Also this.

As much as you try to hide it, a huge appeal of beach volleyball is seeing young, fit bodies. Some men and women attend for this reason alone.

I like this image. It will look significantly different in a few years if the Nova Centre, Roy Building, Discovery Centre tower and TD expansion all move forward. Unfortunately, I can't see the old TexPark site being developed in the near future.

In fact they have rules defining the maximum coverage allowable for the female's outfit.

This is a great photo and should be posted in the City Photos thread.
