I believe that the water has been closed on Skyline Park for years because it was overrun my homeless people who bathed in it. I think that the Tranquility Park in Houston had the same issue.

There really are a lot of water features in New York. My favorite in the entire city is the Unisphere fountain in Flushing Meadows. You can feel the water before you even get close to it.
