The article reiterates the condo. Again, i believe they're seeking financing from Fulton county specifically for these items and not the residential portion. Same goes for MU. I do not expect the residential to be dropped from either project.

I believe Metlife is bringing in an apartment developer for the residential tower whereas Selig is developing the condos building themselves. They may only build the condo tower after pre-sales.

But aren't all the towers connected on the podium? How can they build without building the whole thing?

This is just a guess but they could build the deck and add the tower on top of it later or they could leave an Atlantic Station style hole.

There was a time when I hated the Atlantic-Station-Style-Holes but then I realized if it had been at ground level, there would have been surface parking lots for the last 10 years (and probably forever). So, A-S-S-Holes are fine with me now

I guess that's the simplest (and most likely) explanation which is that they will not seek tax breaks for the residential component.

Seems that the base of the office building has been altered a bit. This is from an ad for the architect in the latest ABC (sorry for huge size):

Nice addition- also appears the amount of floors may have increased at least one more.
Prior rendering:

Bring on google to this tower!!

The entrance on the new rendering doesn’t match the style of the building at all. Hope it’s incorrect

Bizjournals article about Google's forthcoming $13B dollar investment across the country, including new office in Georgia, presumably to 1105 West Peachtree. Link to Google's blog announcing the expansion within:

I saw this recently. I would assume this is what the final product will look like if this is what the model looks like. I hope the glass is dark grey like this. Everything lately has been an ocean blue kinda color.

They're installing foundations and grading the site.
