^ Cool. The second pic has an LA vibe going on.

Here's one more of mine.

I decided to make a suburb for my city that's just hit 100,000.

I think it turned out well.

The beginning:

I have no idea. It must be a high-crime suburb.

Majunga has hit the 250 000 mark.

The city is served by two subway lines (a third one is planned), a suburban railway network and a large bus network.

The dense area outside the inner city follow the subway.

Downtown

The most touristy area of the city with the beach, a big shopping mall, a big aquarium.

A suburb.

What's the efficiency of everybody's subway lines?

I have a ton of people who use the subway but I can never seem to get car trips saved above 30%.

I am so in love with this game, definitely the Sim City game I have been waiting well over a decade for. My only issue with the modding right now seems to be not enough new building stock is being produced, it kind of makes me wish to fire up my rendering programs and put my architecture degree to use, even if it is just for a hobby.

Though my first real city is coming along like how I have always wanted to design a city. I like to build in a quilt fashion where I have a general idea, but I piece it together over time with different ideas to eventually create an overall project.

Yes, I totally agree with you here, I was hoping for more variety of bridges. So for the mod bridges have all been a bust. I tried to use one that sunk into the water, and another wouldn't even fake connecting to the road. I am hoping when we see an update we will get options with bridges.

And I would love to see districts get more expansive. Right now I feel like there is only limited options and would like to see it be able to be more specific, even it being geared to building styles.

My city of Los Angeles. It's not a recreation of LA, but the map is a direct import of the real life topography (with some minor adjustments). City population is still under 100,000. Not a lot of super dense neighborhoods but it's still growing.
