The 323 spring st residential tower proposal looks nice Except for all that Green hangin over the building. It looks like it grew out of the building nationally lol. But overall its Passable I’ll say.

Not a real project-- a rendering to show what is possible here as the present owner tries to sell the site--

Grammy Museum in ATL

Surely this would go somewhere in Midtown near Woodruff / High.

I say Midtown because it is "The Heart of the Arts" in Atlanta - all artsy attractions (High Museum, Woodruff Arts Center, Fox Theater, MODA, etc. is located in the district, and this would fit in beautifully near the home of the multi-grammy-winning Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Actually, it might be a great opportunity to combine this development with a new beautiful Symphony Hall (finally).

Look at the Nashville location and others, they don't look huge, they look like part of other things, like a hotel, etc.

I believe they should stick to having it near centennial. I think the museum is going to be heavily about the hip hop genre. So imagine this being in midtown which has alot of residential and being awakened up at 2-3am in the morning with people not noting how to act, blasting music and shooting videos. I can just see it.

Build it on the parking lot next to the Fox and expand it into the retail mall of the former AT&T tower.

There's no parking in Midtown.
I suspect City leaders would prefer Downtown Convention Tourist area not too far from Centennial Park.

Maybe Coca-Cola owns some land nearby once planned for expansion they'd be willing to sell. Surely several sites were propsoed when building rendering presented.

So, who has connections to ask City & Convention leaders? Check all the sites proposed to Amazon for HQ2 would be a logical first step

Spring Street Varsity has the land and parking, but that would be beyond belief - though 5 acres of land might fetch north of.... $90,000,000 ???

It would be a travesty to waste such prime real estate...

Atlanta Magazine spoke with Mailchimp’s Co-Founder Dan Kurzius regarding the move, who said New City’s project will provide the company “the opportunity to reimagine our space with this thought of us being a platform business as opposed to just an email business.” Mailchimp on Friday did not immediately respond to What Now Atlanta’s request for comment.
