However, I would recommend you to delay your visit until they finish working on Montreal, and "Little Prairies".

Isn't Pearson Airport in Mississauga? Maybe this is the reason why.

But in all seriousness, it does seem like the labelling conventions in Google Maps are somewhat inconsistently applied. The northern New England states have absolutely no bolded cities, capitals or otherwise, to pick just one example. Not that I want to nitpick - configuring labelling rules that work for all possible scales and extents in an interactive map is no small cartographic feat.

Instead of dwelling on the Saint John label's inexplicable bold typeface, we should take solace in the fact that NB's Big 3 all appear on the map way further out than Halifax does (because it's covered by the Nova Scotia label)

- A total of $1.8 million is being invested in operations at Codiac Transpo, including funds to support extending services.
- The City will contribute $10.6 million in grants to local organizations and entities who provide services on behalf of the City. This includes an increase of $750,000 for Ability Transit Services and $737,000 for Moncton Industrial Development.

Highlights of the 2025 Capital Budget ($72.8 million)

- $14.6 million – water, sewer, and storm sewer construction and upgrades
- $21.7 million – road reconstruction, resurfacing, traffic calming, and related infrastructure
- $1 million – active transportation
- $5.2 million – facilities construction and improvements
- $8.75 million – venue improvements, including work at the Moncton Coliseum, St. George Street improvements, and future development and construction of city-owned facilities in Downtown Moncton
- $4.2 million – parks and recreation, including:
- $1.1 million – new and upgraded trails
- $600,000 – Savannah Heights Park
- $300,000 – disc golf facilities
- $500,000 – feasibility and design work for an aquatic facility
- $4.6 million – infrastructure improvements at the Magnetic Hill Zoo
- $3.4 million – ladder truck and other fire equipment
- $400,000 – information technology upgrades
- $8.6 million – equipment, infrastructure, four diesel buses, and one electric bus for Codiac Transpo

Please define "about to be announced" for us. We have been waiting on this for the last 3-4 years!!!

What I think these upcoming announcements could be:

-Ashford/ Downing Street project
-junction phase 4 this could be the rumoured 10 story on Main Street
-The developer of the tomato building with the land he has on lutz street. I haven’t heard any rumour on this yet, this could be a large apartment maybe two.

I'm pretty sure they're alluding to Ashford/Downing. There has to be an announcement of some kind by this summer. The wait has been agonizing.

I’m surprised ashford hasn’t started on the second apartment Lorentz dr, it’s been about a year since they topped of there last building could they of scraped the idea for the second building for now so they can work on the major downtown development?

The Ashford development is dependent on the city and their infrastructure work downtown. Here is the CBC story from Nov.2021 summarising the work to be done over 4 years:

I wonder if the Ashford plans have been modified over the last 3 years - maybe with the fallout from covid? Could that be why we haven't seen any announcement from them - they wanted to have a firm final plan before going public?

About 2 years ago I heard from a pretty reliable source it was going to be 3x21 floor buildings to compete with the three sisters but I’m pretty certain plans have changed. This could have been due to infinity going public it seems like they want to compete to have the largest structure in the skyline of Moncton.
