Here's the mixed-used building that is completed between the Police Station and Chess Piece. I believe only under-construction photos were put up.

Well that's going to end up being a gravel parking lot. Damn.

Not necessarily. I believe that is where Fredericton Tourism was located however the building is owned by the Department of National Defence. At any rate I would assume it is insured and could be rebuilt

I think I was wrong about this - the current NAPA store on Bishop is listed for lease and will be vacant by the end of the year.

Should have had a downtown location from the beginning IMO.

Agreed. Too bad they don't co-locate an NBLC location with it. Folks visting the downtown and staying at major hotels downtown should be able to walk to pick up their 6 pack. York street is a bit too far for that. Wouldn't have to be a full service location..just the popular options ie NBLC Express

Speaking with folks about it, who have lived in Skyline for 4 decades, said it's just a relic of the past. The 4-lane highway used to be just a regular 50 km/hr road, single road and single lane each way. Then it was turned into a highway and the Kimble drive overpass and exit didn't exist.

So the exit was the only exit to get into Skyline Acres at one point.

Wow. That land is big enough for hundreds of housing units. Would be great to see a big mixed used development there.
