My kids go through Jos Louis boxes like madmen.

I miss the Little Debbie Cakes that they discountinued. The Swiss rolls. Billot logs are an abomination of those things.

Wait, doesn't Vachon make Swiss Rolls? They did, after taking over Stuart Bakeries (the latter also made that Quebecois Breakfast of Champions, May Ouest). Come to think about it, I don't see the Swiss Rolls that often.

[IMG]As of 1932, May West cakes were made by Stuart Ltd, run by the wealthy Montreal-based Allard family; they were bought out in 1979 by their longtime competitor, Vachon Inc.[1] Vachon continued to market them under the Stuart brand, before retiring the Stuart brand and rebranding the line to reflect a consolidated Vachon lineup[/IMG]

Love the allusion

Sounds like me and my brother growing up
Vachon products seem high quality by comparison to Little Debbie

I'm telling you guys, ah Louis is where it's at

Maybe that's just me, but I know I wouldn't take seriously advice on how to acquire a portfolio of commercial real estate from someone currently working at Tim's for minimum wage

That's Kennedy Sr's shoe-shine boy, 2023 edition.

Pretty sure I shared this off-topic bit of info at some point in the past, but I started collecting Roman gold coins (aurei) a few years ago, and they're actually fascinating to hold and contemplate in a Scrooge McDuck-y way. Not even joking

From what I've observed about Tim's, it would have to be more special than that... pickled pork tongues deep-fried in All-Canadian maple syrup and with a touch of Autumn Spices™, something like that. And officially endorsed by Justin Bieber or that Nickelback singer.

Does anyone else miss the unsanitary act of rim-rolling? Giving your slobber-covered coffee rim to a Tim's employee?

I miss it. I don't see it as any less sanitary than handling cash or coins, and I would much prefer it over using an app. Mobile phones are pretty unsanitary anyways and are typically dirtier than toilet seats.

That's why we have sanitary measures like gloves and hand sanitizer gel.

'Can you help me with this QR code on my phone, Mister employee?' after you just took a dump in the Tim Horton's bathroom and never washed your hands..

Next month, the Tim Whoreton's "dream donut" is the Honey Kroeger, a Hanna-style take on the Honey Cruller.

Chad's beard looks like my cat's asshole.

As I suggested earlier, IMO the best source of inspiration for a Kroeger-themed product would be his hair.

You know how the pasta caliber below spaghettini are called "capelli d'angelo" (angel's hair)? For a fancy name, this new Ramen-style Tim Horton's product could be called a "Capelli di Chad" Soup
