Thanks! I'll check it out.
Sorry for the derail... back to the weather.
Shearwater dropped from +3°C yesterday afternoon to -12°C overnight. It's up to -7°C and dry at the moment. Even in the sunny +3 yesterday, the wind was still quite cold and raw feeling, so it felt much colder than the given temperature. I made the mistake of not wearing gloves outside as I thought it would feel warmer than it did, so my hands froze...
Should have just brought the gloves anyhow, but...
The ground is still bare in the Halifax area and the weather over the next 4 or 5 days is calling for some mix of rain and/or snow with daytime temps above freezing and nighttime temps fluctuating to mostly below freezing.
Whether we will have snow on the ground after this is unclear.
- EC is calling for 2cm of snow tonight and 2cm tomorrow, with some mix of rain and freezing rain involved. They are calling for periods of snow for Friday, "snow or rain" for Friday night, and periods of rain for Saturday (no amounts given).
- TWN is calling for 1-3cm Thursday, 5-10cm Friday, <1cm Saturday, and 1-3cm Sunday, with no rain amounts forecasted...
