I’d say a stadium is possible on the Southern end, but it’s pushing the limits.
The transit situation from Red/Brownline with the Armitage station is probably similar to Soldier Field if a pedestrian bridge is built. Depends if a pre-game element is built to the North that makes the distance feel shorter.
The entertainment and mixed-use development would be more feasible in this location, considering tourists actually spend time nearby during other parts of the year.
Overall, I’d say it’s a long shot, but the suburbs have their own problems, and Sterling Bays knows the market better than the Bears do.
