Nice shot! this cycle has really matured the SL skyline. Those tracks will be covered in 30 years.

I moved to the South Loop in 2012 and I've seen crazy changes happen since then. I can't imagine what it must be like for those who moved in the mid-90s or earlier. All it's missing is a dense office core (ahem, the 78), and it would be its own self-contained city.

I count that they're on the 44th floor in the last shot. Good to see it over half way done from a floor count prospective

When can we anticipate cladding, paint or whatever it will be to start up?

Cladding and painting have already started. You can see glass a little more than half way up in the pic above.

Rough estimate at what height we're at right now? I counted 44 floors and about 46-47 on the core.

Cool! I'm at KPMG. I can try to get pics from the 67th floor.

45 floors seems about right. OMPW (The Grant) is 595', Sky55 is 425' and The Columbian is 517', so my guess is that the core of OGP (NEMA) is probably surpassed the 500' mark.

Gorgeous shot, Harry!

The straight lines and right angles of OGP contrasts well with its immediate neighbors (OMP, OMPW, Sky55, etc.) It's going to look great once its complete!
