If I'm not mistaken there was a decent sized building finishing up here -

https://maps.google.com/maps?q=13th+...17.6,,0,-16.59

13th in between spruce and locust. Does anyone know what that is?

John C. Anderson Apartments. It is an LGBT friendly senior apartment building. 6 floors in total. Don't know the total amount of units.

Don't know if it has been mentioned, but it looks like La Salle will get into the expansion game.

SOKO Lofts won approval too... but the developer is selling the land, the plans and everything to another developer so could be some time before that gets off the ground. I would LOVE to see all those superblocks in Callowhill developed with some projects similar to these but in the 10-14 floor range. This would be HUGE in connecting Old City and the burgeoning Northern Liberties/Fishtown/Olde Kensington

Warehouse on Front Street to be converted into cool place

Quote:
D3 Real Estate Development has acquired a vacant warehouse on North Front Street in Philadelphia and has plans to convert it into a mixed-use development.
D3 bought the 21,000-square-foot building at 1601-23 N. Front St. for $600,000 and plans to renovate the space into a destination that will have retail space, a micro-brewery, restaurant, office space, fitness center or gallery. It will also have space for live entertainment.
