John's Creek pitching 782-acre redevelopment of Technology Park (Low density sprawling office park currently at 141 and McGinnis Ferry) to become a dense urban downtown district.
The picture is just existing land use run through a photoshop filter in that article. I grew up in John's Creek and I recognize all those buildings as already existing.
Article makes the claim that it is bigger than 4 Charlotte Uptowns.
Though it does call into question why all this microcity fiefdoms came into being when they stand on such shaky financial grounds with existing land use across the city. The schools were top of the line before John's Creek existed as well; only thing I've seen John's Creek do for benefit is repaving roads, and improving the traffic flow with roundabouts and lane reconfiguration.
