Greenprint Gateway and Central Station West are making quick progress. From what I could tell on a couple of the Kier Construction pics it looks like the neighboring Cing Project is also making a lot of progress.
I'm hoping one of you who is in the immediate area regularly will snap some shots of Cinq. After all, it is one of our favorite projects right now.

I assume they can keep excavating and doing other work while they wait for another drill. I believe they were pretty close to being done with piles anyways.

Surveillance video captured the drill rig collapsing. Fox 13 had an article about it with the full length video in the article.

I am very curious to find out what happened. It looks like they were moving it when it tipped over.

They are definitely still working today on excavated portion on the south portion of the lot away from the fallen drill.

I don't doubt that the Astra will be slowed down because of the drill accident, but it definitely hasn't suspended construction. The crew is there working today.

Guys, What is that large complex running east and west just up the street from Bookbinder? It seems to be in back of the Edison Club. I know that the Edison Club is just north but it runs north and south.
Are they adding on units to the back of the Broadway Lofts?? I don't remember us ever talking about something that big.

I'm looking forward to the upcoming neighboring Domain Tower. I hope that it will be a big gamechanger for that vicinity. I would like to see another tower in that big parking lot across to the east from Bookbinder.

Oh, okay! Now I remember it being next to the new Edison House. Still, I didn't realize it extended so far east into the block.

Delts,
Thanks so much for all the updates you do to for the SLC forums.

Just one suggestion though...

Can you please not show every construction photo? We don't need to see all of the construction photos of shoring or rebar, etc like was posted for the Bookbinder apartments.

Just a little editing or photo selection time would be helpful. Most forums I've seen do not even post this amount of construction photos of projects.

But but but but that's what I come to this forum for.

It's fascinating to see SLC growing up as it happens.

I'm one that appreciates the photos more than the discussion. I say keep posting them, delts.

Delts, PLEASE keep posting all of your pics. Speaking only for myself, as an x-Salt Laker, they are my fix! I can easily scroll through what i dont want to see. Problem solved!
