Can’t say I’ve ever seen downtown Vancouver from that particular angle - I really like it - not table-toppy at all. Beautiful.

great shot that shows the layers of the urban fabric, from old Montreal, to the old financial district, to 60s-80s international style period, and Pomo

Montreal has the best depth of any Canadian skyline. You can stare at each picture for a long time continually noticing new things.

I don't understand instagram. Sometimes I follow links to photos on the site but I always get a pop-up that says "log in to view."

Do you need to have an instagram account to see anything on it? If so, why? Are they banking on a sort of exclusivity, and not caring that so many people get blocked from viewing the photos on the site, or are they intending to increase the membership with the expectation that a lot of people will grudgingly sign up just to stop getting pic-blocked?

You simply have to copy the url link of your instagram image within the "insert image" tool.
For example:
https://www.instagram.com/p/CAc9647JYXu/

And then you complete the url with /media/?size=l
For example:
https://www.instagram.com/p/CAc9647JYXu/media/?size=l

You get this result:

Don't forget to give credit to the author of the photo. Hope it helped!

I'm not the biggest Telus Sky fan in the world but that is a great shot of it with some beauties in the background.

Hi..I really have to get around and take some Ottawa shots. It's such a hard city to get good views unless you shoot them from the Quebec side, but I have an idea where..In the meantime, a relative of mine grabbed this nice view of downtown Calgary today, so I thought I would share here..It's just from a different angle that I've personally never seen on here before.I really need to get out to the Prairies. Instagram doesn't make money off of random people stumbling across pictures through a third-party website. Most content wouldn't even show up on a google search. They need you to have an account and be a daily active user posting pictures of you doing yoga in front of the sunset.

Okay, got it. Though that raises another question...do SSPers want to see pictures of me doing yoga in front of the sunset?

If not, what about behind the sunset?

Not enough to create an account that's for sure.

No offense. I'm sure you're an incredible yogist.

Don't ask people not to debate a topic. Just stop making debatable assertions. Problem solved.

At this point of quarantine I'd take a picture of avocado toast captioned with "eat, pray love"
