An observation in question form

Just an observation in question form....are Google Tower 1 and Google Tower 2 close enough to put a sky bridge linking them and if so has it been considered?

This tower needs to get more love on this forum. It's in a prominent location, bold architecture, and will be a defining tower of our skyline. Long live Block 185

I'm not sure there's many people on SSP that aren't excited about this one. The only real downside I see is that like the Frost Bank tower, we'll very quickly be wishing this were taller, when it things around it begin blocking it out.

It's right on the water adn there's the creek and then the library right next to it, so it's unlikely that it'll be blocked.

The more glass, the more beautiful this thing becomes--It really is our first "big city" tower IMO. I really love the slightly different color glass floors with each tier.

You're looking at our new signature tower, folks.

I mean. Wow. This one gets more impressive with every new panel of glass. And it's just going to keep going up from here. Curves! Angles! The western face is completely different to anything else in the city and I'd say Texas as well.

That curve really is getting more and more dramatic as the glass goes up. I'm excited to watch this progress.

Had dinner at Peacock last night ((Vaccine hollah!) I highly recommend it - really good Mediterranean food)) the view is absolutely *fantastic* of this building and the canyon is very real.

I remember like 10 years ago when we were all seeing renders of the Green Water Treatment plant proposals + the old power station and I have to say from Mayor Wynn and everyone involved at the outset of this plan its really neat to see the end-result of a long term vision come to fruition.

2nd street was absolutely hopping last night with great foot traffic everywhere ranging from tourists to residents walking home from Trader Joes.

A little trip down memory lane, to a younger Austin aspiring for greatness. From the orginal plan, it looks like we only got one of those buildings basically unchanged. But I think we can live with the results!

Whenever I think about this building, Independent, Proper, Northshore or Google 1, I think about this commercial for Kathie Tovo's mentor https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tM-w4Fcn6z0 And yes, that's the 360 with the spire and the podium chopped off copied and pasted
