Ore freighter entering Hamilton harbour, under the lift and Skyway bridges.

The 1958 span is the same design as the other steel arched bridges pictured above. It's been painted grey for a long time, but was green decades ago.

The second span, the new Commisioner Street Bridge is now in place. One more span to go that will have 3 sections I believe.

I'd be curious if the Canadian side has something as bombastic on its pylon.
