Tim Hortons soup is made in either Campbell's Napoleon Ohio plant or YaYa Foods (co-packer) in Etobicoke; either facility could easily have a roach problem. I've seen my share of roaches in food production.

Like their donuts, Tim's soup is factory made.

Notons que c’est à Calgary, en Alberta, où les soupes en boîte ont été les plus achetées au prorata de la population.

Also worth noting is that it's in Calgary, Alberta where containers (paper bowls) of soup were purchased the most per capita.

I do believe that the Fruit Quenchers were test marketed in Timmins and were on the menu for awhile before they were available at most locations. So maybe that had some influence on the sales. Timmins certainly isn't a place where you think that Summery drinks would sell best but who knows why they would be a big seller here.

I have never seen a Tea Latte available at Tims but maybe it is actually supposed to be a London Fog which in French is called "thé londonien."

I intentionally chose to not participate in this digital Roll up the Rims thing due to how stupid it sounds, but perhaps I was curious if it was worth trying.

I've so far won two coffees. I guess I can't complain, even if it's crappy coffee.

I refuse to participate. I’m not downloading yet another app that can track me.

I rarely ever go to Tim Hortons anymore anyways. I have many more better options where I live now, unlike suburban London where Timmy’s remains wildly popular.

Most of the coffee joints near me are more catered to the high end because Timmies has beaten a lot of the competition. But, there are some options out there, hmm I should try them out.

I think I'll be deleting the program from my phone soon, it's terribly designed and loads slowly.

Won a coffee on the first one, nothing since. At least last year you got points if nothing else. All you get this year is an entry into some draw.

Two coffees and a donut so far (out of about 8 virtual rolls). One thing I notice (separate from the RUtR contest) is the number of "points" required to purchase a coffee has skyrocketed... IIRC you used to be able to "point buy" an 80-point coffee with about 8 purchases. Now it's based on $ spent (10 per dollar, I believe). Which means $40 of purchases to get one coffee.

A free coffee and a 6-month subscription to Sportsnet NOW so far. There’s actually hundreds of thousands of those so it’s nothing special.

Just like Canadian Tire money, the relative amount of reward has declined to the point that it is just a complete waste of time.

Airmiles is also useless.

And fuck Galen Weston and optimum points.

I'm the same. I think in the last three years I may have purchased one Timmies steeped tea and that's about it.

I thought the old physical roll up the rim contest was kinda fun, but I don't use fast food apps (I hate big brother breathing down my neck). The older I get, the more of a Luddite I become. I did some computer science courses in university in the 1970s, and I was an early internet adopter, and a lead proponent of computerized workstations in my (radiology) department for image interpretation, but, now I am a fuddy-duddy.

If anything, the digital roll up the rim contest has driven me away from Tim Hortons.

My bro won $15 off a Voila grocery delivery. He gave it to me because he lives about 150 Km from the nearest Safeway.

The only place I earn Air miles is at IGA. I cash my air miles out for gift cards at Jean-Coutu.

The Air Miles store is garbage.

Same with me. The old contest brought me into their restaurants.

For me, Shell is the only place left where I can get Air Miles. Safeway eliminated it last year in favour of Scene+. The only other business I know of around here that offers Air Miles is a local plumber, Milani Plumbing.

I remember when the LCBO in Ontario offered Air Miles. They don't do that anymore either. I think Boston Pizza had it for a time over a decade ago too.

Metro is still offering Air Miles, but yeah the thing is disappearing at a fast pace. Not sure if it’s even possible to redeem your points for a trip abroad with those (it used to be at some point). Rona used to offer Air Miles too.

Same here. I just don't bother. I went from being a daily Tim's guy to maybe once a month now, and I just can't be bothered with their stupid app.

You can still book flights on Air Miles... I just went on one, and I'm planning another one for next year.

BMO just bought Air Miles so it's not quite dead yet, even if not many retailers are involved with it anymore.
