I believe that Grady is performing a $70-80 million expansion to the ER.

Took a walk around midtown today. The corner where 1163 W. Peachtree is supposed to go - that Einstein's is still operating, and that one deli was closed but still had all of the furniture / TVs and stuff placed inside. It seems hard to believe that there will be a ground breaking this Friday. Does anyone have any idea what the timeline is for stuff to happen?

Also the Post building lot doesn't seem to have any activity. I would think there would be tree removal signs but nothing yet.

I think that's just a ceremony, suits with shovels etc. The project probably won't start for awhile.

Is Three Alliance Center still moving? I haven't heard or seen anything of it in several months.

Yes, it is moving along. There is now a tower crane and you can see progress (although only a section) on the Skyhouse Buckhead Oxblue camera.

Oh, I guess you're right, thank you. What's the small red crane to the right of the skyhouse in the Oxblue camera, is that the Cyan parking garage or something?

Any news on 22 14th Street? This and Eviva are my 2 favorite proposals. Modera would come in third (if it looks like I am hoping). What company is developing 22 14th? Do they have a website?

I believe it is the Cyan parking garage. What appears to be a parking structure has only appeared in the last month

I know this isn't an architecture site-- but some critical introspection about the quality of what is happening is a good thing--

Twitter plans Atlanta expansion # Ponce City Market

The San Francisco-based social networking company (NYSE: TWTR) will lease about 8,000 square foot at Ponce City Market in Old Fourth Ward. The expansion will grow Twitter's Atlanta sales and marketing teams to about 70 people, according to a report in The Atlanta Business Chronicle. The new office, scheduled to open in the summer, will include brand strategists, who help Fortune 500 enterprises such as The Home Depot and The Coca-Cola Co. craft marketing campaigns on the social networking site.

The report also noted that Google is said to be scouting Ponce City Market for a new office.

Google Fiber is coming to Atlanta, I wonder how much fiber laying they will need to do before they start rolling out services. Also fully expect Comcrap and Uverse to magically have faster speeds all of a sudden.
