Ok, has anyone else noticed how gigantic/weird the red crane in this picture is? I was going to say something about it the other night after I walked by and was like holy crap that is a big crawler crane, but then I forgot. Does anyone have any idea what they need something that big for?

That picture doesn't do it justice, you have to see it in real life, its pretty darn big...

Where is Mandarin goint to be in reference to the pick above? I forget the exact location. This area sure is getting tall. I love it.

In that picture it will show up behind the Fairmont. (Stubby little 400ft between Aon and Aqua)

I'm surprised updates are slow for this, I thought it was right in the middle of where a bunch of forumers worked and lived?

I haven't been able to read over every page under this topic, so I don't know if this has been covered, but is the construction on the Aqua going to take a lot longer than a regular building since every floor plate will be unique?

When you picture in your mind the addition of 340 On The Park, the expansion of the BC/BS and the Mandarin Oriental to the Aon, 2 Prudential, and Aqua in this shot, you realize that this is going to be probably the densest packing of 700'+ towers in the world--and aesthetically, I'm not sure that's a good thing.

You're absolutely right. You have to add the new 90-story building on Wacker across from Aqua before it's perfect...
