OMG! Mosler Lofts are done so quicky? Last time I saw it, it was only in the third floor! Looks like O8 is finally going to move up! I can't wait for Rollin Street, that project looks really nice. Hurray for all the new buildings in Seattle!!!

Here is the AVA thingy I was talking about. There's almost no change from some of the old ones but the glass is different and the beige seems toned down a bit.

Sorry but it's sideways. I forgot to rotate it:

The new AVA still looks nice, although I think I like the old better. The new one looks a bit too close to 1521 with a podium, and seems to have lost some of the uniqueness that the earlier render had.

Of course they lost some of the uniqueness, Seattle Planners got involved. They can never leave well enough alone.
We should get some of the old school planners out of the planning commission. They should not be making the decisions.

Strange, but I agree 100%. It has a nice massing to it, proportions are great. It may be bland materials, but that building from that angle isn't bad at all.

I thought Horizon House was kind of fat. I checked out the O8 website and watched the video.

This building is going to be awesome when it's finished. Not as tall as I thought it would be though. Isn't it supposed to be 460 ft? Isn't the Qwest Tower also 460 ft?

On the video O8 looks smaller, way smaller than the Qwest Building.

Oh, forgot to mention that the Bus Tunnel will finally open to well--buses!!
It won't be used for light-rail until 2009 though but hey only 2 more years to go!
This project seemed so far away when I first heard of it but time flies.

as discussed over at SSC, I think we should add 1918 8th to under construction with this new rendering:

Site

-Also can we add Heron Tower????

-BTW, I think we should take 5th and Madison off the list until we get a new rendering.

The video shows the building before they added the three additional floors. It should be just a touch shorter than the Qwest.
