Zoning has been approved for a 19-story building to be built over the podium at the bottom of the page but this project has been constantly delayed...

Well, a 19-story building isn't that tall but it would indeed have an impact, although somewhat limited, on the Quebec City skyline. That being said, it would be the first time since the 70's that a building that tall is constructed. Let's hope the design will be nice so that the population can finally come to terms with downtown towers!!!

The blue building on the following pic isn't the actual proposal but simply intends to show the impact it would have on the skyline...
