I've been looking forward to that project next to the Mormon temple for a while. It isn't going to be huge, but it looks super sleek in the renderings!

I heard the project is on a very accelerated pace including significant overtime to meet a deadline for tenant move-in. The contractor is meeting a very aggressive schedule which is why they are out there 7 days a week.

Kumdog, did I ever tell you that you and Nergie are my two favorite forumers? How about we have a beer at one of your places sometime?

My good friend has a condo with a similar view, but it's in the fugly Heritage down the block. Legacy is like pure class, the best luxury condo building in the city IMO.

PS, Gr33n is going to be F'ing huge, the crane is like taller than K2. It's looking massive from the Ohio feeder. This and it's future sister office buildings are going to really push the West Loop skyline outwards. They are also going to greatly expand the canyonization of the Kennedy even though they are basically above Hubbard's Cave. Chicago is really the brawniest of cities, it's multilayer infrastructure is crazier than any other city on the planet IMO.

^ Yep, the more I see Gr333n grow, the more I realize how big those three towers will be for the West Loop. The density down there is getting absurd

Semi-Daily rundown from the Office:

Lake Street corridor continues to grow. Really loving how it's developing:

Gr333n continuing to beast up:

Give me back the deer. This looks like the front yard of a frat house in the Deep South lol

^^^ 845 W Madison is definitely happening. They brought subcontractors in just two weeks ago for scope reviews. Bananas will be dancing.

I wish Google Earth would update their 3D Chicago maps, it's about 3-4 years old - it would be nice to see all of the recent developments that have exploded during this time. LA, San Francisco and a lot of NYC/Manhattan have been updated to within the past year or so. It's almost deliberate..

This is a big reason why I always loved the CAF Chicago model. They always had updated buildings, usually included models of in-progress developments, and every so often added proposals.

The CAF model is awesome. I was at the CAC on Wednesday it looked incredible with all our new construction. Vista was stunning. I can't wait to see OCS and the next wave of supertalls included.
