Thank God there's nothing as ugly in Canada as the gun control debate in the States. How soulless can the NRA sock puppets in Congress be?

Soulless or simply bought and paid for? At a minimum, one senses that whether a candidate has received NRA money may feature in future election campaigns (for all the good it will do).

AKA soulless. If you value money from the NRA over human lives you are soulless, sociopathic scum.

IMO not even the ugliest of Canadian politicians including the late Rob Ford can compare to the insidious evil of Paul Ryan or Mitch McConnell or the Big Orange Anus. Not even Stephen Harper was as sociopathic. He sure as hell wouldn't have endured the continued murdering spree of innocent children to appease his lobbyists.

"Folks, make no mistake about it," Doug Ford said in his short statement from the basement of his mother's Etobicoke house. "The elites of this party, the ones who have shut out the grassroots folks, do not want me in this race. But I'm here to give a voice to the hard-working taxpayer folks of this province, folks who have been ignored for far too long."

Always with the "Elites want to shut me out" and "Only I can save you the simple folk". It is Trumpesque.

Did Dougie plan that restaurant campaign stop, or did he just show up during the early sitting of the blue plate special?

President's Choice Memories of Butter Margarine, to be exact. "If you are not satisfied with this product, simply return it to the store for a full refund!"

Yeah, Ford supporters are uncannily like Trumpsters, and they probably wear that as a badge of honour, unaware of how utterly stupid they appear.

I know that Vancouver doesn’t see much snow but this is the first I’ve heard of it affecting drivers in this way...

Absolutely! As well as those grumpy old men (and a few women) who have nothing better to do than complain in the comments section of news articles.

I wonder if Doug Ford will have Don Cherry along with him at campaign stops.
