as FYI Red River isn't in Neepawa, it's a Co-op but not a Red River. Not all co-ops are Red River, in the city yes but rural not always. Red River does own numerous pharmacy in rural areas though. I love the Co-Op model of business and fully support more of it

Co-op in Oakbank is interesting. Gas bar is Red River, grocery store is Beausejour, and the home building store is Pembina Valley.

LOL, that's crazy.
Side note, but the Co-op gas station in Dryden on 17 is a Red River Co-op. That's a big ol' footprint!

Yes. MY reply about 5 locations was to the comment the other poster mentioned about only 3 in the city of Winnipeg.

I believe that in Lorette Red River runs the grocery store and the gas bar is run by the Clearview Co-op out of Steinbach.

If I lived east of Winnipeg I would need a special wallet just to keep track of my membership cards for each co-op I shop at.

There's also a Red River Co-op gas bar as far east as Dryden, ON.

There's also one in Kenora.

Red River Co-op should be trying to purchase the Esso at Prawda. That location would be a goldmine for them.

I had no idea they had locations out in Dryden now too.

You are correct. The grocery store was formerly run by Federated Co-ops and called The Marketplace. Not a bad little store although the produce can be questionable. Our go to for smaller shops, less than 10 minute drive from home.

Gas bar is Clearview, formerly Ste Anne Co-op.

I wonder what the new ownership will do with the empty Bay space at St Vital Centre, it will require a fairly large investment for any future tenants.

The article mentions Uniqlo. I have no clue on how big their stores are or if they already have space in the mall.

Uniqlo is going in the Bay wing they have combined 7 units for them, some stores closed indefinitely and other were relocated.

Kildonan Place Announces $30M Redevelopment Project

Bringing this over here. Was by the mall today. The demolition is well underway. There was one section where they were part way through the old movie theatre. You could see the wall inside the theatre with the sound proof paneling, where you'd walk up the stairs to your seat. Old 90's styled. Was sad in a way as that's my childhood.
