Sparky just invented the best catch-phrase of the century! I plan to use this as often as I can.

If you say it with a solid Ukrainian accent, it's all good.

It is a cancerous tumour in an otherwise gem of our city.

I wonder if Confusion corner could somehow be turned into a roundabout. It would be worth studying. This may prove difficult as Pembina and Corydon would meet at the same part of the roundabout.

In Edmonton, they ahve the 118 Ave/Princess Elizabeth/101 Street roundabout, which is a great way to move traffic.

Donald/Pembina needs to go under Osborne, no traffic signals. Exit ramp to Corydon. Exit loop left to get back to Osborne.

Maybe in my lifetime, maybe not.

As I recall, the city has been wanting to install some sort of interchange of the grade separated variety there since time immemorial. The problem is that it just doesn't have the money and if it did, it's got much higher priority items on a long list.

So....probably not in your lifetime. Or your grandchildren's. Or their grandchildren's. Or before armegeddon.

I recall seeing a proposal/rendering as a suggestion, not formally announced. It looked great with many residential towers set back a bit. About 1/2 dozen between 18 - 30 floors...where Dollarama is now. Also, a rendering/ proposal showed how to redevelop Dominion Centre on Goulet with lots of residential set back would also make sense.

Construction workers need a toilet with a coffee maker attached to it! Instead of having 5 or 6 of standing around just watching one guy a job.

I'm talking about those little ants that's not making an effort building a hotel. If they were caught using that kind of machine. I would love to know what the boss has to say.

Now that the old Dominion Bridge site is cleared, is there any plan in place for this space?

Sounds interesting. Does anyone have images of these proposals?

Hard to grasp the sheer size of it until you look at the aerial pictures. It was basically falling apart at the seams due to long term landlord neglect. I read the legal court documents about Capitol Steel’s lawsuit against the landlord, apparently the place flooded every time it rained. I also heard from many people that it was an extremely toxic work environment in multiple ways. Sad to see history go but hopefully some good fresh developments will be positive for the area.

After years of the corner of William Ave. and Harriet St. being a parking lot. There will be something going up. They dug a hole and that's about it so far.

Air Canada park refresh scheduled to start soon:

A relatively small piece of the downtown revitalization, but it's nice to see progress on this.
