I like it! Very clean and attractive design, creates new density on a plot of land that otherwise would not be able to host it (due to the city infrastructure that occupies it) and perhaps most importantly, it preserves all the existing historic building stock.

Interesting rendering showing Vista Tower in the background. It looks so skinny.

Can we get more... taller towers in that area so we can pretend that AMLI river north doesn't exist?

Not bad, certainly a better use of land. Kind of reminds me of GP's Park Tower at Transbay in SF.

I appreciate seeing Vista in these renderings.

Yeah, cladding looks nice, seems like they are making an effort at Geottsch in that regard

It will be cool to see a new office building in River North. I don’t want to see the office market die north of Kinzie. A company that picks this office is definitely not relying on Metra commuters for employees - and those companies exist, like Groupon.

I mean, this building is still close enough to Ogilvie that you could easily walk there. It's as close as the IBM building to main hubs of transportation, if not even closer.

Plus, River North has the lowest office vacancy rates among sub markets.

I knew something was off in the render... they replaced Hotel Palomar with lots of trees haha.

Also my building's enormous pool deck is concrete

Overall excited for some retail & office space with a decent design though. Those two story balcony / openings look interesting too.
