It's great to finally get Virgin Airlines service and the Bay Area flight should do well with business and leisure traffic.
Great! I've grown quite fond of Virgin America's product and unless things have changed I'm sure there's a market for it in New Orleans. I wish they would offer an East Coast option, but JetBlue has that segment covered in terms of the market they serve. Maybe this will drive down fares to the Bay Area since United has SFO on lock.

The Plaza Tower redevelopment is the final piece of the puzzle for the revitalization of that portion of Loyola. Glad to see that something should be happening soon with the building.

NEW ORLEANS – TOMORROW, Mayor Landrieu will join Councilmember Jared Brossett and City and State Officials to break ground on the new Nora Navra Library. The original 2,500 square foot library was constructed in 1954 and was severely damaged during Hurricane Katrina. The new library will be 7,800 square feet and will cost over $3.3 million.
