Pics by me today - you can get a sense of the double-skinned box on the corner now, as the steel at the roof-line is complete.
More canopy steel is up on Granville, too - which lines up with the box on the corner.

Thanks! I'll continue to say that it's looking far better than the renders and the materials look to be of top quality, the glazing looks amazing.

Just wondering what that one 'vented' window is on level four over Granville just north of Robson, it's not in the renderings and looks a bit odd?

My guess is for worker access between the 2 skins.

I think I can speak for everybody in thanking you for these great pictures.
Whatever the criticisms of this building are, or may have been, I think the building will justify itself in its reflective quality.
Excuse me for repeating this, but I think it's something to anticipate and, later, appreciate.
Anyway, speaking personally, although I quite like the design elements, it's the reflectivity that I look forward to more than
pretty much anything else, the Howe Street side especially.

I was looking at Google Maps recently, which are pretty out of date. The old white building is still in there when you zoom in to the helicopter height view, and the difference between how it looks now and then is... wow. I know it's only a new skin, but what a world of difference.

Pic by me today.
The snow helps see some detail inside.
Looks like some extra floor removal (more than required for the atria)

They've also started putting up the curtain wall on the Howe st side at Robson st. I didn't get a chance to take a photo.

Pics by me today - including the spandrelled glass at Howe & Robson:

Robson & Granville (note the roof is in place for the top floor alcove on Granville):

Robson side at Robson & Granville:

Robson side of protruding part that will house the Nordstrom restaurant. Note the spandrel (as if it's a feature).
I guess the spandrel needed to cover the steel structure, although solid surface or reflective glass would have worked too.
The height of the bottom spandrel is also out of proportion, so it looks bulky. Breaking it up into 2 smaller panes would have helped.

Glass on the Howe side.
Note another piece of steel framing being lowered into place:

Pics by me today:

Note the areas built up with foam to channel water to the drains.
They appear as "X"s in the middle area.

^ I think it is fair to say that there is an expectation that it will be at least partially filled by a law firm or firms. The proximity to the Law Courts is an attractive feature, along with very large contiguous floorplates that are going to be among the largest downtown.
