I imagine something like Slacker, just one long stream of conscious jump from one scene to the next.

My mother claims I've never been happier than when I'm drunk or under the influence of high-powered painkillers.

Yeah, I imagine if I made a movie it would be really jumpy and incoherent, but with lots of memorable shit. And really, that's the best way to capture this city; it's jumpy and incoherent too.

Yes, but in an urban setting and with hookers and homeless natives instead of ghosts or whatever.

He once had a thread where he was asking if anybody was scared of trees. Seriously.
I believe that was my first encounter with mike.

We should start a thread asking people if they are afraid of zombie hipsters with AIDS.

Taking my wife to Scotty's Brewhouse for lunch. I'm intrigued by their Shewman Special. Half pound, hand-pattied, grilled burger,
peanut butter, jalapeños, cheddar cheese and bacon.

I'm only afraid of junipers. They're so fucking shifty, you just can't turn your backs on them. They should die.

I've never been eager to step in front of the camera, I like to stay behind it.

AIDS is too mainstream. Zombie hipsters would never have AIDS. They'd have something obscure, preferably subterranean.

You're right. Zombie hipsters with crabs would be much more terrifying.

Syphilitic Zombie Hipsters.

Sounds like a good band name.

Or is that just your way of saying "good cheese"? All you really need is some decent Cabot clothbound cheddar... like your precious maple syrup, produced in a traditional way, not as some Kraft science experiment in a factory using quote-unquote "edible oils".

This dude is a walking stereotype. Don't you see, vid, that because he works for money and has more of it than you that he's morally superior to you in every way? You poor people, and your ghetto chesse-like products. If only the little people could know the deliciousness that is Cabot cloth-bound cheddar...God have pity on the pauper! You should really be more appreciative of your betters; they are only trying to teach you civilization.

It's kinda fun talking to people like that because they're so out of touch with reality.

If Thai cuisine has taught us anything, it is that peanut goes good with spicy. Chocolate does too.

No, but I'm about to read his thread in Forum Issues complaining about it.

Either I went to bed before it came up or I didn't notice it when I was still online.

I just love the line "like your precious maple syrup."

Oh Canada, with your cute, precious, little maple syrup!

Only the peanut butter seems odd in that combo but I'd definitely give it a try. Maybe if I drive back east this summer or fall I'll make a pit stop there. Seriously, I think that'd be good.
