Nowhere near completion but already the best looking residential building on the central waterfront lol. Can't wait for all those curvy (terracotta coloured) balcony guards to be installed.
Lots of excavation progress on the formerly moth-balled site (developer Greenland sold the project to Pinnacle). 7 buildings up to 49 storeys in 2 phases will fill a big hole in the redevelopment of the East Bayfront.
I took a few pictures yesterday of the various projects going up in my local area. In the image below, you can see three towers going up, two of which are part of a condo project, and the other, an expansion of an apartment building. The Evening Calls by Josh Kennington Photographics, on Flickr
By my count, IIRC, there are 47 buildings proposed or U/C in downtown Hamilton 15 storeys or higher.
Even if only half get built, the amount of change they represent is enormous compared to the relative stagnant growth downtown between 1980 or so and ~2020. The ones that have recently gone up or are in progress have already resulted in a huge difference.
I thought there was only Guelph, Calgary, Saskatchewan, PEI, and Montreal in Canada
It will be a satellite campus of Université de Montréal in partnership with the UQAR. The first 3 years will be given here and the rest in Saint-Hyacinthe.

Some nice curtain-wall glass going in (rare for most condos)… maybe their collaboration with music artist Pharrell leaked into the exterior? I'm "Happy".
Parkside Village, Mississauga
It's been a while since I posted about these towers going up in Mississauga. There's 4 towers underway in just this masterplan, and 5 cranes in total. It's great to finally see this site get closer to completion. I took these yesterday. Somnium Gratus by Josh Kennington Photographics, on Flickr
The phase in front is called Voya, with a 42 and 36 floor tower to be on site, and the much further along phase behind it is called Avia, and will have a 38 floor tower matched with a 50 floor tower.
