Quite a few updates recently on this one too. Two levels of glazing up.

I think this building is going to be a full service Marriott rather than the Residence Inn by Marriott. The sign on the tower is the branding for the full service product line. I stay at Marriott brand hotels all the time, so I know the branding differences between full service, residence inn, courtyard, renaissance, and 20 other sub brands.

Here is what the residence inn brand logo looks like: http://delmontehotels.com/img/Portfo..._rendering.jpg

Would have been nice if it was a JW Marriott. I stay at the one in Grand Rapids often and it is really a nice hotel.

Based on the interior spec in the construction tender, it is going to be a Marriot Residences/Suites. The Marriot on 9 Ave is full services so I don't see there being two in the core.

I'm going with Marriott Suites, which is an all suite full service sub-brand of the Marriott. This will not be a Residence Inn by Marriott.

Here is a comparable Marriott Suites in Anaheim. http://www.anaheimcamarriottsuites.com/index.shtml

The Anaheim Marriott Suites is 300 metes away from the Residence Inn by Marriott.

Yes the last one is the residential tower. I originally thought they were going to build it in stages but looks like it is getting built all at once.

Does anyone know why they're not opening until 2019? To me it looks like they'll top out by late fall and I can't see why it would take over a year to finish all of the interior stuff, etc. Clearly I'm missing something.

This project does a good job of filling the CPR gap between the Beltline and DT. I'm liking the cladding so far too.

All the recent developments along 10th have been a huge improvement to the overall core. Early 2000s I found the ave sketchier than east hastings.. hopefully the upward momentum can continue!
