Looks nice. Quite the expansion. Kind of an odd, out of the way location though.

Nice! That was our favourite restaurant while living in Vancouver. Would have been nicer downtown but I won't complain!

Mapleton Power Centre photos from April 14, 2012.

Looks like Cleve's Sports in the center, not sure about the two others.

Looking over on the other side, still lots of work to be done. At the farther end, you'll see the land is cleared and the foundation for a third building is completed.

MPC construction seems to be crawling at a slow pace!

The unit closest to you there would be the Ocean Trail Source for Adventure store. You are right that the middle unit would be Cleves Source for Sport. The far unit would be Golf Town.

These three stores side by side would have tremendous synergy together for people interested in an active lifestyle! The Source for Adventure store would be somethin like a MEC

Both Aaron's and Battery House will exiting Northwest Centre for the new strip mall next door. Sony store is already empty? Subway has just opened a new store up the street farther. Not sure if the dentist office is still there or not. Just leaves Money Mart. Does this add fuel to the Target rumor?

Target is confirmed for that location...the question is how much will they expand the old Zellers to make it happen...and it looks like a lot!

Hard to imagine, as the building isn't even built yet!

I imagine the manager gets hired well before store opening and will be responsible for local hiring and supervising start-up of the store.

Still, this is hard evidence that BB&B is indeed coming to Mapleton.

Isn't Best Buy in the same building as BB&B? I would imagine that we will soon hear from them as well.

They are busy putting in fill and levelling the site where that building is to be built. Both BB&B and PetSmart are now confirmed, so the only question mark left is Best Buy......

This is what is being suggested for the odd shaped lot on the southwest corner of the Frampton Lane/Mapleton Road intersection. This is right next to the McManaman Building:

They are proposing a coffee shop or fast food enterprise with a drive-thru. There would only be about 15 parking spots available and access would be off the driveway leading into the McManaman Building.

This lot has obvious problems, but lies directly across from the main entrance to the Mapleton Power Centre. As such, this property could be quite desireable, with a high profile and large traffic volumes. I imagine someone will build something here, and before too long!

Moxie's is great, very excited about this one!

Regarding Champlain Place; Pandora is going into the SoftMoc space and Swarovski is going into Yves Rocher. I guess girlfriends & wives of Metro Moncton will be getting nice little things in the near future.
I really don't get why Pseudio is opening back at Champlain (they sell their brands elsewhere in the mall or in Moncton), I thought they didn't want local shops/chains... You can find Pseudio in Miramichi or Bathurst, this is not a ''destination" store... Where is Banana Republic, Zara or JCrew???!!!

They are beginning to install the precast concrete walls for the building at the top end of the Mapleton Power Centre. This building appears to have two units available in it for lease.

Went into the new Cleve's and Source for Adventure at the Mapleton Power Centre at lunch. The store looks nice and is a lot larger than their old Trinity location. The two are connected by a couple of open doorways, so they are really one store with different departments.

Golf Town still has an "Opening Soon" sign up, but that time must be close.

That is a fair size building lined up with Wheeler in the Mapleton Power Centre ... almost looks like only one major tenant.

On Another note came across this article , looks like Fossil will be opening up in Champlain Place.

That will serve to add to the "high end" feel Champlain is going for

In other news I drove by the Mapleton Power Center today and I noticed that they are quickly preparing another site! This one is very near the entrance to the center (lights). It appears to be a restaurant sized pad...(perhaps Jack Astors?)

Seen some tweet this afternoon that a Starbucks will be build on Mountain Road. Think it's around the Lounsbury Shoppers Park lot.
