One more game to see if we can spark some life into those guys, but the chemistry is just not there anymore. I'm very interested to see what they management do in the off-season. My votes for players to go would be: Emery, Gerber, Meszaros, Richardson (retire), and Stillman. There are plenty of good goaltenders going on the market this summer so there is no reason to keep these two that the players (and the fans) obviously have no confidence in. I don't care how well Gerber played last game, it just needs to happen.

I'll be at the game tonight and I'm cringing at the thought of that idiot coming out to centre ice again. Who planned that? Didn't anyone tell them how corny it was going to be? Anyway, I'm prepared to bid my team farewell for the season tonight, but I hope they can put together one win....just to make things interesting.

It's always sad to see the Sens lose but I was prepared for this for quite a while. Alfredsson was clearly not 100% and hopefully the team will come back stronger after a summer to heal all the reported and unreported injuries. What we clearly need is some more team speed, both on defence and at the forward positions. Also, someone needs to spend the summer teaching Spezza and Heatley how to better maintain puck possession and how to battle for the puck along the boards. If they could improve in those areas, they will become that much more dangerous offensive players.

rough guys, rough. Apparently the locker room division as pretty nasty, expect major changes next season, and can someone please banish Brian Murray for Ottawa, I blame him for destroying Emery instead of trying to help him, Sens can't go anywhere with Gerber, he's proven that, although he's good, he's no Emery.

Raptors starting the playoffs soon, 401. You excited? I don't think they'll do too well, but it should be fun to watch. Maybe if we stop wasting playing time on Bargani. I'm more interested in the Blue Jays though-if they stay healthy and Burnett finally gives us the year he was supposed to give us, they'll go far.

Well it's time for Emery to pack his bags and

of Ottawa. Since the start of his antics, the club went south. I think a couple of players should be let go, hard to tell if Redden would be one of them or perhaps Mezaros or Chris Neil. I don't know if Pat Burns is fully recovered from his colon cancer but would it be fit to have him as a coach or perhaps Bob Hartley or Benoit Groulx from the Piques.

The only thing positive from this season is that Toronto missed the playoffs and that there cupless-season streak is now at 41.

If the Raptors were playing the western division, they would have not been even close of making the playoffs, just to show you how the West is incredibly stronger then the East in the NBA

Well, the boys are certainly getting back on track over the last 5-6 games. Not highlight reel goals against the Pens today, but it's about time we start getting some bounces. What do you guys think about the new third jerseys? I don't mind them, but much prefer my red one.

For me the red one is a classic. The white one is OK but I've never owned a white jersey in all my years as an income-earner with disposable moolah to indulge in these things. As for the new third... meh. It's ok, but nothing more. It's definitely not a run-out-and-buy-it, as the new red one with the O patch was.

In the lead-up to the unveiling, they had another design that used the retro "O" with the 1920's barberpole around it, on a black jersey. I hope they adopt that one some day - THAT was a run-out-and-get-it.

I completely agree about the retro jersey. I also like the white ones, but I decided on red as I don't want to wash mine too many times and the white one is just asking me to spill nacho cheese all over it.
