Grand. I like how the park appears to be surrounded by those large-appearing trees. What are they, 40 metres?

^Yeah I agree. Love the surrounding trees.

The art installment and plaza looks similar to that of George Waiborne Park.

Thanks for the close-up shots of the park.

It is looking nice but, my god, has it ever taken a long time to come this far. It was as if they decided to grow the landscape from seed and forgo concrete form work and instead rely on erosion and luck to shape things.

I do like the art. They have small built in LEDs that light up at night and look like fireflies amidst the metal work. I especially like how the sculptures are flowers and grains, referencing the natural and agricultural heritage of Surrey.

Cora towers are close to being completed:

Had Obelisk been given another 6-9 stories it would have been perfect IMO... seems a little short.

This one popped up today, any additional news on it? First I've heard of it, I would imagine this would be next to the Green Timbers hospital also in the works? The size on this is huge.

^ This proposal has been floating around for years. I imagine this would vacate all the existing RCMP offices that are scattered about amongst 3 business park buildings in Newton.
